Encouragement for people starting to draw

Learning new skills is tough. But I manage to encourage myself to start drawing. Here are some quick tips and tricks to get you started:

·         Start with the basic start at lines, circles and polygons also practice on curves as well

·         Once you get going into on the last tip start drawing easy everyday objects (e.g. car keys, coffee mugs, kitchen utensils, makeup, even a pen and paper will do)

·         Get books about drawing

·         Finding your own style once you’re getting the hang of it (e.g. anime, realistic, cartooning, etc)

·         Erasers are a friend for mistakes but don’t use it to hard

Once you get really going here are some ADVANCE things you can do and put your art to the next level:

·         Inking your sketches to make it good lasting impression on the paper

·         Coloring is a great way to show how you improve

·         Invest in a Wacom tablet and some software to start drawing digitally
